> Regsøk.no is Norway's most modern vehicle information platform. It allows users to look up any Norwegian vehicle by registration number (regnummer) to get detailed information including technical specifications, ownership history, mileage history (kilometerhistorikk), liens and encumbrances (heftelser), EU inspection status, safety ratings, and market value estimates. Built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and SQLite. The platform also offers a comprehensive car price index based on tens of thousands of listings from the Norwegian used car market. Operated by Medienor AS, Bergen, Norway.

- **FINN.no Market Data**: Car listings scraped from FINN.no for market value analysis, price index, and ad history. Includes make, model, price, description, and detailed vehicle specifications.
- **NHTSA**: US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for safety ratings and recall information.

## Authentication & Subscription

- **Vipps Login**: Users authenticate via Vipps (Norwegian mobile payment/ID), which creates an account and logs search history.
- **Subscription**: Premium features (owner history, mileage history) require a subscription managed via Stripe (3 NOK trial for 3 days, then 199 NOK/month).
